X-Ray
- X-rays are the oldest, most requested and most widely used imaging examination. X-rays help doctors diagnose and treat many medical conditions, as part of the body is exposed to a small dose of ionizing radiation to produce images of inside the body.
- The examination takes 10 to 20 minutes.

Necessary preparations for the examination
- Most X-ray examinations do not require advance preparation.
But preferably:
- Take off part or all your clothing when performing the examination.
- Remove jewelry, dentures, glasses and any metal objects that may interfere with the X-ray field.
- Notify the doctor or radiology technician if there is any possibility of pregnancy.
